Today in the news more black and brown bodies traumatized the soil is toxic the air is poison
A multi-screen series of videos, leading toward the water.

Initially made in response to “The Work of Wind: Air, Land, Sea” (Blackwood Gallery, Mississauga, 2018), Today in the news more black and brown bodies traumatized the soil is toxic the air is poison begins with the understanding that we are at a critical impasse and that multiple imbalances within our society – climate change, global capitalism, infrastructural governance, environmental racism – are inherently entwined. Through a series of animated collages, this multi-screen project invites viewers to begin imagining our way out of this complex web, prompting new ways of imagining and envisioning our collective future.
